Plagiarize never got to fulfil her racing potential but her talent ensures plenty of eyes will be on the first of her offspring at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

Three-year-old colt Thrillers is by 11-time Group One winner Lonhro out of the former star two-year-old filly and kicks off his career in the Glenmore Park Handicap (1300m).

Plagiarize's racing days were cut short after just three starts which included wins in the 2006 Silver Slipper Stakes and Kindergarten Stakes.

The John Hawkes-trained daughter of Stravinsky was installed the Golden Slipper favourite that year after defeating Gold Edition by 3-1/4 lengths in the Kindergarten.

But before she even got back to her stall after the Kindergarten, Plagiarize's career was over when she injured a leg as she was being pulled up.

"He will probably be the best-bred horse there at Warwick Farm tomorrow, that's for sure," Thrillers' jockey Josh Parr said.

"And he's a cracker to look at."

Parr, who is a stable rider for Darley in Sydney, says Thrillers has taken a while to get to the races but has shown talent on the training track.

"He's such a big horse and I think it's taken a long time to get him fit and just getting him to learn what it's all about," he said.

"He's been a slow developer but each step he progresses and keeps stepping up and does it impressively. Tomorrow is another progression for him but I'm sure the ability is there and I'm looking forward to riding him."

The Peter Snowden-trained colt has been to the trials twice in preparation for his debut with Parr riding him to a win over 900m at Rosehill on September 30.

The jockey will also partner Secession, another Lonhro colt, at Warwick Farm where the three-year-old runs in the $25 Family Membership Handicap (1300m).

Secession finished a close second to Rumour And Scandal first-up over 1200m at Canterbury on September 29.

Parr has his first race ride on the colt on Wednesday.

"Without having ridden him last start, how I summed up the race was that the leader and eventual winner put a good length on him at the top of the straight and it took him a while to wind up," Parr said.

"His last 80 metres was pretty strong I thought. At a track like Warwick Farm, his home track, it's sure to suit him more."

Secession has won one of his six starts and will be out to capture his first win since claiming a Listed race on debut in Melbourne last November.
