The powerful combination of trainer Gerald Ryan and jockey Glyn Schofield will be back in force at Rosehill on Saturday in search of another feature win.

Schofield rode the Ryan-trained Ready To Lift to victories in the Christmas and Summer Cups and also claimed the Tattersall's Cup on Tommifrancs who runs in the Listed Frank Underwood Cup (2000m).

Ryan said Tommifrancs had thrived since his win on New Year's Day and would be one of two definite stable runners in the race along with Synonym.

A decision on Fort `N' Won will be made later this week.

"Tommifrancs has done really well and seems to be thriving in the warmer weather," Ryan said.

"He will run on Saturday and then step back up to 2400 metres in the Australia Day Cup so hopefully we can add that to the list as well.

"The tracks have been consistently good and that has helped.

"Synonym will definitely run as well but I'll wait and see how Fort `N' Won goes this week.

"He has been disappointing and I'm just not sure where we go with him."

Fort `N' Won has finished well down the track in three starts this campaign with his last win in March over 1900 metres on a slow track.

At his most recent start, Fort `N' Won finished nine lengths behind the winner Rangirangdoo in a 1600m welter at Randwick in January 3 in which Synonym was a fair fourth, beaten 3-1/2 lengths.

The three stablemates were among 14 entries for the Underwood Cup with Tommifrancs the highest rated at 100.5.

Penrickson and Ausbred King, who finished second and fourth respectively in the Tattersalls Cup, have both been entered along with veteran country star Precise Timing.

The front-running Penrickson stretched out to a big lead in the Tatt's Cup with Tommifrancs claiming him inside the last 150 metres to go on and win by 1-1/4 lengths.

Fourteen fillies have been entered for the two-year-old handicap with 10 in the colts and geldings division.

Among the juveniles are Chris Waller-trained Big Birdie and Speedskater who carry the all cerise silks of the Ingham family.

Big Birdie, a filly by Exceed And Excel, was a $900,000 Easter yearling while Encosta De Lago colt Speedskater was a $1.7 million purchase.
