Flying Spur mare She's Curvaceous is doing everything to suggest to trainer Grahame Begg she is ready to strike at Randwick on Wednesday.
The four-year-old lines up in the Australia Day At Randwick Handicap (1550m) on the Kensington track.
She's Curvaceous comes into the race after a sixth to frontrunner Modonna over 1300 metres on the Kensington Track on January 6.
One start earlier She's Curvaceous finished strongly to edge out Gee Eff Cee by a nose to break her maiden status in a 1200 metre race at Kembla Grange in December.
"I think she's got a very good hope," Begg said.
"She ran very well the other day. Barrier two the other day was probably the worst thing she could have drawn."
Apprentice Brenton Avdulla had the swooper just worse than midfield for most of the trip before she ran on nicely despite plenty of traffic around her.
"She'll appreciate the extra ground and will get a nice run from the alley (four)," Begg said.
"She's done everything right since the run and will be hitting the line with purpose."
She's Curvaceous has one win from her nine starts.
Out of the McGinty mare Vital Curves, She's Curvaceous rocketed home to a debut second to Farthingstone at Randwick in September 2008.
She subsequently failed to beat a runner home when stepped up to stakes company in the Listed Reginald Allen Stakes three weeks later.
Begg is hoping stablemate United Harmony can atone for a disastrous last start when she contests in the Oncidon Handicap (1100m).
United Harmony was a distant last at Canterbury in December when she was galloped on and injured before running off the track and eased up before the home turn in a 1100 metre race.
The filly was fourth to Morosi in a 1050 metre barrier trial at Randwick on January 4.
"We're hopeful that she'll turn it around with the blinkers on for the first time," Begg said.
United Harmony has only had two starts with her debut resulting in a third to Electric Dreams at Randwick last July.
Stablemate Huckleberry Friend, an acceptor for the Panorama Dining Room Handicap (1400m) at Randwick will be saved for a benchmark 65 race over the same distance at Newcastle on Saturday.
"He's not running because of the wide alley (13)," Begg said.
Four-year-old Huckleberry Friend has won his past two starts.
The Viscount gelding broke his maiden status at Newcastle over 1300 metres in December before defeating Our Mosstique at Kembla Grange on January 2.
