Renowned trainer of two-year-olds Clarry Conners will continue his push towards a fifth Golden Slipper crown when Georgette Silk lines up at Rosehill on Saturday.
The filly scored an impressive victory in the Widden Stakes earlier this month, prompting Conners to compare her favourably with his previous Slipper winners Tierce (1991), Burst (1992), Prowl (1998) and Belle De Jour (2000).
But while Georgette Silk made all the running for Blake Shinn last start, Conners said she was not one-dimensional.
"She'll relax," Conners said.
"When Blake Shinn asked her to come back underneath him last start she came back beautifully.
"I read the race with Blake and we thought we had to ride her forward but there looks like there will be plenty of leaders on Saturday."
There are 14 nominations for the Group Two Silver Slipper (1100m) including unbeaten filly Chance Bye who needs to win to secure a Golden Slipper start.
While she has amassed more than $340,000 in prizemoney it does not count towards the Slipper because her victories have been in restricted William Inglis sales races.
Magic Millions runner-up Ambers Waltz, Breeders Plate winner Run For Wilson and talented pair Intertidal and Mafia Miss are also among Saturday's entries.
Conners will be aiming to keep his winning momentum rolling having dominated the juvenile races in Sydney for the past two Saturdays.
He produced Georgette Silk to go one better than her debut second to subsequent Blue Diamond Stakes placegetter Beneteau and win the Widden, before Decision Time maintained his perfect record at Rosehill on the weekend.
Conners reported the colt had pulled up well and would press on to the Black Opal Stakes in Canberra on Sunday week as planned.
If he wins that, connections will consider paying the late entry fee for the Slipper.
Georgette Silk is currently 10th in the order of entry for the world's richest two-year-old race and Conners is mindful of not over-taxing her in the lead-up .
"She only raced nine days ago so I haven't done a lot with her," Conners said.
"She will do a bit of work in the morning and again on Thursday.
"If she runs well on Saturday she will probably have one more start two or three weeks before the Slipper."
The Warwick Farm horseman has also entered Glowlamp for Saturday's Group Three Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) but the dual Group One placegetter is not a certain starter.
"I don't want to run her over more than 1200 or 1300 metres this time so 1300 metres on Saturday is not ideal," he said.
"I'll see how she does during the week and what the field is like."
Glowlamp has not raced since finishing down the track in Purple's Matriarch Stakes last November but is yet to miss a place in four first-up runs.
She is among 14 entries for the Millie Fox headed by Group One winners Allez Wonder and Neroli.
