Friday is D-Day for Michelle Payne as she tries to resurrect her riding career, reports TVN. It says Michelle hasn't ridden since fracturing two vertebrae in her back and suffering severe concussion in a fall at Ararat on Sep 21. On Friday she will undergo a mandatory concussion test, where all facets of her brain function are testing in a gruelling three and a half hour test. The tester will go to Michelle's house. Michelle says she is feeling "good", but is a little apprehensive as Friday beckons "If I fail the test I can re-sit it in a month, and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if I failed. Maybe another month will do me good before I can start riding trackwork," she says.
