Warrnambool trainer Jarrod McLean is facing a 'positive swab' charge arising from a sample taken from Taste Test at the Colac trials on December 21 last year. Stewards allege it contained traces of Phenylbutazone and Oxyphenbutazone.McLean was attempting to have Taste Test reinstated after the horse was barred from racing for hanging out at Stawell on Dec 12 last year. The charge will be heard by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on a date to be fixed.
