HONG Kong's leading rider Brett Prebble yesterday experienced first-hand the domination of mare Typhoon Tracy and said later he preferred not to have to race her again after she thrashed her rivals to clinch a fourth group 1 win in the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield, reports the Sunday Age.

Its report adds: Prebble, who flew into Melbourne on Friday to partner the Hong Kong-owned galloper Dao Dao in yesterday's $500,000 race, said Typhoon Tracy reminded him of former champion mare Sunline and said he hoped that her owners decided against sending her to Hong Kong for the Champions Mile in April.

''After that, I would recommend that she's stays at home,'' he quipped. ''She's got a touch of Sunline about her.''

Prebble said he thought Dao Dao had a chance of causing a boilover when Typhoon Tracy looked to be in trouble on the home turn. ''I was surprised she kicked as strong as she did. I thought, 'I'm a chance here', but then she got into top gear and she was soft on the line I thought. She is one serious racehorse.''

Yesterday's Futurity Stakes was the first leg of the Asian Mile Challenge, which moves to Dubai next month and then Hong Kong for the Champions Mile in April. If she was to travel to Hong Kong and win, her connections would receive a $1 million bonus, but trainer Peter Moody said a decision on Hong Kong would be made later today.

Moody said yesterday's 2.75-length win - in a sizzling time of one minute 34.43 seconds - was the most impressive of her nine career victories.

''That was probably her best win. The time suggests that and the quality of the opposition suggests that. She's all racehorse.''
