Peter Moody will leave a decision on a start in the Champions Mile in Hong Kong up to the owners after Typhoon Tracy recorded her fourth Group One win in the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield.

Moody said the owners, John Hutchins and family, would say yes or no on Sunday to having the Red Ransom four-year-old vaccinated for the trip to run in the Champions Mile at Sha Tin on April 25.

The Futurity (1600m) was the first leg of the Asian Mile Challenge, while the ChaSmpions Mile is the third leg of the four-race series.

The Caulfield trainer said Horse of the Year candidate Typhoon Tracy's next run would definitely be in Sydney.

"Whether it be in the Coolmore, the Queen Of The Turf or the Ryder, it'll be in one of those races but I wouldn't imagine it would be in more than one of those," Moody said.

He added Hong Kong was an option but it was totally up to Hutchins, who bred the mare, and his family.

"We'll have a chat tomorrow because if we go down that path she needs to be vaccinated," Moody said.

"But like I've said before there are lot of good races here with a lot of good prizemoney, but she's the first to be eligible for the big bonuses for the Asian Mile Challenge."

Regular rider Luke Nolen had Typhoon Tracy ($1.60 fav) travelling comfortably in the first three of the six runners behind Joku with Barbaricus also handy throughout.

The mare quickly shot clear in the straight and easily held Dao Dao ($7) by 2-3/4 lengths with Sniper's Bullet ($6.50) a half-length away third.

Typhoon Tracy has now won nine of her 12 starts and has been out of a place just once.

"She's got the weight-for-age horses around here covered at the moment," Nolen said.

Nolen added the mare sometimes could have a flat spot around the home turn on her home track at Caulfield, but it didn't stop her from running a sensational 12.13 seconds for the last 200m on Saturday.

"She's in for the fight and she's very courageous," he said.

"They were chasing me and she kicked into that next gear and was too good."
