Stuart Webb, who played a behind-the-scenes role in Mosheen's Randwick Guineas win, is hoping for a larger share of the Sydney autumn spotlight with Yosei on Saturday.

Webb has confirmed a start in the $600,000 Coolmore Classic at Rosehill for the three-time Group One winner.

"She is all set to go," the Caulfield trainer who is also an assistant to Mosheen's conditioner Robert Smerdon, said.

Webb accompanied Mosheen to Sydney as the filly swept aside her male rivals in the Randwick Guineas and he believes Yosei is peaking in time to give him a unique week-to-week double.

"If you go through her form, her third-up run is one of her best," he said.

After a forgettable spring, Yosei provided Webb and jockey Michelle Payne with enough reason to be optimistic about the autumn with a pleasing return in the Oakleigh Plate and an acceptable run at Listed level at Flemington on March 10.

"She was caught three-wide without cover at Flemington with a big weight and it was always going to be an ask against the males," Webb said.

Saturday's meeting will mark two years since Yosei first came to notice as a racehorse to be reckoned with at the corresponding Sydney carnival fixture.

She produced an eye-catching finish when fourth in the Reisling Stakes and confirmed her promise with a Group One AJC Sires' Produce Stakes win at her next start.

Webb said Yosei didn't come up in a disappointing Melbourne spring.

"Her problem was superficial but she is over that now," he said.

The Coolmore Classic attracted 15 nominations when Monday's entry deadline passed.

The Australian Turf Club extended nominations until Tuesday with the Anthony Cummings-trained filly She Goes To Rio expected to be added to the list.

She Goes To Rio, last-start winner of the Canberra Guineas, will also be nominated for the Keith Nolan Classic at Kembla Grange on Sunday.

"It remains to be seen what race will suit best but we don't have to make a call until Saturday morning," Cummings's son Edward said.

Absolutely, King's Rose, Secret Admirer and Streama are the Group One winners nominated for the Coolmore.

Last year's AJC Australian Oaks winner Absolutely finished second in a Cranbourne barrier trial on Monday but a Sydney trip remains uncertain for the Mick Kent-trained mare.
