Exciting two-year-old Turf Express has continued his winning ways at Randwick with trainer Gai Waterhouse keeping close tabs on proceedings from the Galapagos Islands.

Waterhouse was not letting her holiday get in the way of business and was on the phone to her racing manager Robyn Hartney immediately after Saturday's race to discuss future plans for the colt.

Turf Express started the $1.55 favourite and made it two wins from two starts when he held off Henriette ($26) in the Inglis Classic Sale Handicap (1150m) by three-quarters of a length.

"I've spoken to Gai and he will have one more start this preparation before going for a break to come back for the autumn," Hartney said.

Waterhouse's race day representative Tania Rouse said the stable believed Turf Express would get better as his distances were extended.

"He is a very relaxed horse and is getting better each time he races," she said.

"And the way he relaxes suggests he will just get better over further."

Turf Express is raced by Henry Cojuangco whose brother Eduardo is well known in Sydney racing via his Gooree Pastoral Company which has raced such horses as Desert War and more recently Northern Meteor.

Henry Cojuangco only races half a dozen horses with Turf Express flying the flag for the Filipino businessman.
