Filly Set For Fame will fly the flag for Peter Moody in Saturday's Coolmore Classic after he elected to bypass the Group One race with Typhoon Tracy.

Moody did not pay up for the star four-year-old mare at Rosehill due to her attracting the maximum weight of 61kg and the fact she had to give as much as nine kilograms to her rivals under the quality handicap conditions.

Her absence led to all weights being raised half a kilo with Set For Fame on the minimum of 52.5kg and Luke Nolen to ride.

The three-year-old has drawn barrier 17 in the field of 18 but Moody hasn't baulked at the horror gate.

"She's running and she'll leave tomorrow night," Moody said.

The daughter of Reset is backing up after her gallant second to Rock Classic in the Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington last Saturday.

"She didn't have a lot of luck, she got held up behind Denman while Bart's colt (Rock Classic) was out and running, so hopefully we can make amends for that," Moody said.

Typhoon Tracy carried the minimum weight of 51kg when she landed her first Group One in the 2009 Coolmore as a three-year-old.

She also had a wide draw, jumping from barrier 14 in a 16-horse field when ridden by Glen Boss.

Had Typhoon Tracy run this Saturday, Boss had been on standby to ride Set For Fame but he will now ride Prima Nova for Anthony Cummings.

Typhoon Tracy has now won four Group One races and will attempt a fifth in either the Queen Of The Turf Stakes or the George Ryder Stakes, both run over 1500m at Rosehill on April 3.

Moody said her connections were still to make up their minds on which race to attack.

"They are on the same day and they are worth the same prizemoney," Moody said.

"One's against the boys and one's against the girls. She'll be eights-on in the mares race and threes-on against the boys."

Meanwhile, David Hayes said Irish Lights would take her place in the Coolmore Classic, bypassing Saturday's Sportingbet Classic (1200m) at Morphettville for which she was also an acceptor.

"We're going to Sydney. When the big two came out (Typhoon Tracy and More Joyous) we decided to have a go at the Coolmore," Hayes said.

Irish Lights drew gate 11 and will be ridden by apprentice Daniel Ganderton.
