Forget about a two-state feature race double, Grahame Begg will be looking to plunder stakes races in two countries this weekend.

Begg is in Dubai where outstanding sprinter All Silent will tackle the Group Three Alquoz Sprint (1200m), run in the early hours of Sunday morning Australian time.

At Rosehill on Saturday he will have up to three runners including Pagan Princess in the Listed Epona Stakes (1900m).

The mare will be on trial at the trip following her close last-start second to Sacred Choice in the Aspiration Quality (1600m).

But it is not the distance of the race that worries Begg.

"She races like she will get over 2000 metres and I'm very happy with her but I'm disappointed with how the weights have turned out," Begg said.

"(Group winner) Miss Marielle was in the nominations and she condensed all the weights.

"The horse who beat us last start, Sacred Choice, we should be getting three or four kilos off her and now we're only getting half a kilo when there is nine ratings points between them."

Sacred Choice conceded Pagan Princess 3.5kg and beat her by a half-head in the Aspiration Quality.

At Rosehill on Saturday there is just half a kilo separating the pair and Sacred Choice is topweight with 57kg while each of the remaining 10 runners will carry 56.5kg.

"I had a few words to the handicapper about it. It's very disappointing," Begg said.

"I know she (Sacred Choice) only just beat us the other day but we've lost any advantage we might have got."

Weights aside, Pagan Princess has been a model of consistency and has missed a place just twice in 10 starts.

Prior to her last run she strung together consecutive wins in Sydney before a hit-and-run mission to Melbourne where she finished fifth to Zarita in the Group Two Sunline Stakes (1600m).

Begg also has Purrpurrlena in the Group Three Birthday Card Stakes (1200m) and two-year-old Mafia Miss in the Group Two Magic Night Stakes (1200m).

A slashing second in the Gimcrack Stakes on debut in the spring, Mafia Miss has raced below expectations this campaign with her best effort a second to Georgette Silk in the Widden Stakes.

Last start she settled worse than midfield and didn't threaten when sixth to Crystal Lily in the Sweet Embrace Stakes.

Begg has also entered Mafia Miss for a race at Warwick Farm on Tuesday and will look at the fields and barrier draws for both races before deciding where she will run.
