Pat Webster's 5YO mare had little chance of winning from the outset in a Mares OMW 1250m at Canterbury on Nov 26. Well back and wide settling, she was on the outside of the field into the straight and just about in last spot. I liked the way she clicked over the final 200m (without much help from her female jockey). Today, the reins are handed to Blake Shinn and this is a significant switch. The race looks like one that deserves a crack at the trifecta
