Slipper's a no-go...There'll be no late-entry fee paid for Star Witness to run in the $3 million Golden Slipper. Trainer Danny O'Brien has other plans for the Blue Diamond winner. He reckons he has the potential to be a Caulfield Guineas contender in the spring and that's a prospect he doesn't want to jeopardise by chasing riches at Rosehill on April 3. O'Brien says: 'He's not even entered for the Slipper and we wouldn't consider paying a late entry for him. If he runs again it will be in the VRC Sires Produce.'
