Slick Sydney filly Snitzerland continued her spring blitz with victory in tonight's $150,000 TBV/Gallagher Bassett Champagne Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley.

The daughter of Snitzel made it three wins from as many starts as a three-year-old when she proved too good for a field of female rivals in the Group 3 event.

The Gerald Ryan-trained speedster added yet another string to her bow at what was her first start at Moonee Valley to confirm her status as one of the most professional fillies the Sydney horseman has prepared.

"You can't put her in front of Melito, she was a great filly - she won two Group 1s against the older horses and she ran in seven Group 1s in a row and got beat a total of 2.4 lengths - and this filly has only raced against her own age.

"But I'd say at this stage she's more precocious and more professional."

The victory wasn't the most brilliant of Snitzerland's career - which now sits at five wins from eight starts - but the $1.40 favourite still held a comfortable 1-3/4-length margin over her nearest rival on the line.

After being ridden along by Corey Brown to retain the lead after receiving early pressure from Elite Elle, Snitzerland got a mid-race breather before skipping clear at the 250m.

Fellow Sydneysider Hoss Amor ($9) followed Snitzerland through to hold down second, while Saturn Rock ($20) worked home well to edge out Elite Elle for third placing, a further three quarters of a length back.

Brown said the win was better than it appeared as he didn't think she appreciated racing under lights.

"I was actually a little bit concerned coming to the 400 (metres) when I first pushed the button, but she wound up and got into her gear," he said. "I think under lights first time it just took a bit of her focus away, but it was still a good win.

Ryan said Snitzerland is now likely to progress to the $250,000 Group 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 13 October before pressing ahead to her main spring target, the $500,000 Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on 3 November. (www.racingvictoria.net.au)
