Australian champion sprinter Scenic Blast has come through a searching barrier trial at Sha Tin and is back on track for the International Sprint on December 13.

He will be joined in the Group One 1200m feature by All Silent and last year's third placegetter Apache Cat.

All Silent and Racing To Win, who runs in the International Mile (1600m), arrived safely from Australia on Tuesday.

Australian Horse of the Year Scenic Blast missed a scheduled appearance in the Sprint Trial last Sunday week due to a foot problem.

All Silent's trainer Grahame Begg is no stranger to Hong Kong and says he can't wait to get back.

"I have great memories of Hong Kong," he said.

"Monopolize is the only horse I've campaigned overseas until now, so hopefully All Silent can maintain the unbeaten record."

Monopolize won the Hong Kong International Bowl (1400m) in 1995 and 1996 with the race now replaced by the International Mile.

Local horse Jackpot Delight has been named as the replacement for European Purple Moon in the Hong Kong Vase.

The Luca Cumani-trained Purple Moon, runner-up to Efficient in the 2007 Melbourne Cup, was withdrawn from the Vase and will now be aimed at the Dubai meeting in March.

"Purple Moon won't be going to Hong Kong this year as he isn't quite ready," Cumani told the Racing Post.

"We had hoped to do Hong Kong and then Dubai with him but now we will just wait for the (Dubai) carnival."

Cumani still plans to start Presvis in the Group One Hong Kong Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin.

Apache Cat was due to leave Melbourne for Hong Kong on Tuesday night.
