Patinack Farm trainer Jason Coyle believes bypassing the Golden Slipper with Onemorenomore has given the colt his best chance to claim the final two legs of the two-year-old triple crown.

The Red Ransom youngster runs in the Group One Sires' Produce (1400m) at Randwick on Saturday with the race the second leg of the triple crown which kicked off with the Slipper and ends with the Group One Champagne Stakes (1600m) on Anzac Day.

The decision to skip the Golden Slipper has already paid dividends for Nathan Tinkler's Patinack concern after Onemorenomore won the Listed Baillieu Handicap (1400m) on a heavy Kensington track at Randwick on April 1.

Prior to that he ran fifth to Manhattan Rain in the Group Three Skyline Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on March 14 and that was the performance which confirmed Coyle's suspicions Onemorenomore wanted longer trips.

"I had a feeling early on that he was a Sires-Champagne horse but you have to test the waters where the Slipper is concerned," Coyle said.

"But in the end missing the Slipper was the best move we could have made and we think the horse is capable of stepping up and mixing it at this level over this distance."

The colt will again be partnered by stable rider Peter Robl and has drawn barrier five.

"It's a perfect gate for him, Pete can put him wherever he feels comfortable," Coyle said.

"We really couldn't be happier with him and everything in general, the weather and track is no concern because he showed he can run on anything."

Onemorenomore ran third to Golden Slipper favourite Real Saga in the Breeders' Plate (1000m) in October and was third in the Silver Slipper (1100m) won by Melito when he returned in late February.

TAB Sportsbet has Golden Slipper winner Phelan Ready as $3.20 favourite ahead of the John O'Shea-trained Tickets at $4.50 while Onemorenomore is one of the outsiders in the field at $21.
