The young trainer said he might now revise immediate racing plans for the galloper.
The Firehouse is yet to win in six starts but Coyle rates the gelding a potential carnival player.
"At the moment he is a very good maiden because if you look at each race he has been beaten in there has been a handy galloper to come out of it," Coyle said.
"His runs have been very good. Most times it's been a case of meeting a better one on the day."
Two unraced youngsters were among three late entries for the $2 million Magic Millions Classic including Delagos, an Encosta De Lago filly trained by Anthony Cummings.
Nominations for supporting races on Saturday week also closed on Tuesday with the meeting attracting more than 560 entries.
