Star jockey Corey Brown returned from holidays in style at Warwick Farm on Saturday, bagging a winning treble including victory on the exciting sprinter Rain Affair.

Brown, who spent two weeks on holidays in America and hadn't ridden a horse for three weeks, opened his account with victory on Al's Magic Miss in the Rosebud Fillies Preview (1100m).

He had an armchair ride on rising star Rain Affair who cruised to his sixth win in seven starts in the At Sea Handicap (1200m) and he capped his day by winning the final race on the Allan Denham-trained Lioncub.

Brown arrived back in Sydney on Monday weighing 60kg and "topped it off" by going to yum cha that day which took his weight up to as much as 61.5kg.

"Today was the first day I've sat on a horse's back since I left for holidays," Brown said after bringing up his treble with a four-length win on Lioncub in the ATC Foundation Memberships On Sale Now Handicap.

The race, originally set down for 1400m, was reduced to 1300m as the end of the 1400m chute was deemed unsafe for racing after 93mm of rain fell at the southwestern Sydney circuit since Tuesday.

"I've been walking on the machine, jogging and riding the exerciser," Brown said.

"I've still been eating but eating properly. I went on a detox juice diet for the first four days I was back.

"I was still 56 kilos yesterday and I was lucky my ride at 54 kilos today was scratched. I was happy to ride 55 but if I had to squeeze that extra one kilo off I reckon it might have taken the edge off me."

Brown will finish the season in second place on the Sydney premiership behind Nash Rawiller and said it would have been nice to return with a single winner let alone a treble.

"Even just to break the ice with that first winner earlier in the day was good," he said.

"It takes the pressure off the whole thing."
