The focus on two-year-olds will switch to Sydney and Melbourne over the coming weeks starting with Saturday's $250,000 Inglis Classic.

Karuta Queen's all-the-way win in Saturday's $2 million Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast has set the benchmark for the juveniles heading to the rich autumn races culminating in the $3.5 million Golden Slipper at Rosehill on the first Saturday in April.

Bossdon City is set to back up in the Inglis Classic following his impressive debut win at Rosehill on Saturday.

"We'll look at every hurdle in front of us in Melbourne and Sydney," trainer Brett Cavanough said.

"All the major two-year-old races are there and we have to front up until we bottom out."

A $50,000 purchase, Bossdon City beat Godspeed who cost $1.875 million and was the most expensive yearling sold at public auction in Australia last year.

The fillies division of the two-year-old races at Rosehill produced another upset with Hollyweird defeating odds-on favourite Glissade.

Trainer Peter Snowden was not disappointed with Glissade and she is still in line to join his Melbourne team for a Blue Diamond Stakes preparation.

"Melbourne is still there as an option," Snowden said.

The Blue Diamond Previews will be run on Australia day at Caulfield.

The 2010 Inglis Classic was won by Kembla Grange filly Chance Bye who also won the Inglis Nursery and went on to claim the Group Two Silver Slipper.

This season's Inglis Nursery on December 18 was won by Patinack Farm's Pane In The Glass.

Prize money won in Magic Millions or Inglis sales restricted races does not count towards a start in the Golden Slipper.

The Sydney autumn black type races for two-year-olds kick off with the Canonbury and Widden Stakes at Rosehill on February 5.
