Unbeaten sprinter Black Caviar has thrilled the Peter Moody stable with a dominant display in a jumpout at Caulfield.

Stable manager Jeff O'Connor described the performance as "super" after she streaked away from her opposition in the 800-metre trial.

"She had a cape on," O'Connor said.

"You might as well have had two clocks, one for her and one of the rest of the field."

O'Connor said her winning time, while comparable to some other jumpouts, was eight or nine lengths faster than the average of the morning.

"We don't take any notice of what is up against her in jumpouts and most likely they were class one and two horses," O'Connor said.

"Whatever they were those behind her, they went okay."

Jockey Luke Nolen gave Black Caviar a good hitout without punishing her in the jumpout which she won by at least six lengths.

She also had a jumpout 11 days ago but Moody felt she needed another one to bring her to her top in preparation for her first-up Group One weight-for-age assignment in the Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on Saturday week.

"Jumping out of the stalls again was the important thing for her," O'Connor said.

The champion mare, who is unbeaten in eight starts, was named the world's best turf sprinter for 2010 and will be a headline act this autumn.

Moody is planning the Lightning Stakes as the first of up to six Group One targets for Black Caviar at the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane carnivals.
