Black Caviar’s first foal Oscietra has been rated a $1.80 chance with TAB of winning her first race after an impressive debut jumpout last week.

The two-year-old is also priced at $10 to win a group one race in 2017.

“It's been a while since an unraced galloper has commanded so much attention but when your mum is Black Caviar the expectations are going to be a little higher,” TAB’s Glenn Munsie said.

“From what we saw on Friday morning at Flemington those lofty expectations could be warranted.

“Any racing person would like nothing more than Oscietra doing well and with master training operation Lindsay Park plotting her career she'll no doubt receive every opportunity to do so.

“Another barrier trial hit out in a couple of weeks will determine when we see her but $1.80 could be "overs" if she backs up her first racetrack outing.”
