Hong Kong racing experts are tipping Aussie John Size to take out the current trainers' premiership battle - even though the season is still in its early stages. The Racing Post's Alan Aitken says: 'It is Size who is looking title-dangerous. Often a slow starter whose form has run parallel with his horses, Size builds momentum as the season progresses, most memorably in his debut season, when he came through the field from last to become a contender by the midway point of the term for a championship he ultimately won. In other seasons when he has been champion trainer, Size's form line at this stage of the contest has had a similar look to his current 14 wins from the opening 166 races. Two seasons back, he started particularly slowly and had only eight wins at this stage of the term from 185 races run but still managed to take out the title. Just as ominous is the type of new horse that Size has presented, with the likes of Tuxedo and Glorious Days looking like three-win seasons right off the bat. What do they say about the early crow? Even this far out, Size looks like the championship winner but if anything can test how good he is, then this is probably it.'
