Aren't these things checked on the morning of a meeting? And what was the fault that caused the camera to be out of action for so long during the day? There are lots of questions to be answered.

That first race debacle was a shocker...The only footage available was from TV cameras anchored just past the post and, under the rules of racing, stewards have to be convinced the judges have made a mistake to overturn their decision, and with only the dubious footage available they were unable to do that.
