Melbourne Cup winner Kingston Rule died last Saturday at his home of 20 years, Ealing Park. Born in the USA in 1986, the magnificent son of legendary US champion Secretariat and our own superstar mare Rose of Kingston, won the 1990 Melbourne Cup in record time of 3 minutes, 16.3 seconds. Bred and raced by Mr and Mrs David Hains, Kingston Rule retired to Ealing Park for the 1991 stud season and has stood there for 20 years.
