Early bad luck...Cedarberg, one of Australia's main Caulfield & Melbourne Cup prospects, dropped dead after galloping at Moonee Valley on Tuesday morning. The Pat Carey-trained stayer had just completed a 1400m trackwork hitout with jockey Rhys McLeod aboard when he collapsed and died. McLeod was not injured in the incident.
