Saturday's Flemington card has attracted outstanding nominations, says Racing Victoria.

This weekend's Flemington card looks set to live up to its 'Super Saturday' billing after fantastic nominations for the support card were received this morning.

Those still in the running for the day's two $1 million Group 1s - the Dubai Australia Cup and Lexus Newmarket Handicap - were known before today's midday nomination deadline, but some big names were among the entries for the meeting's other seven races.

Black Caviar's little half-brother All Too Hard, a debut winner at Flemington two Saturdays ago, has been nominated for the $250,000 Henry Bucks Sires' Produce Stakes.

He joins one-time Blue Diamond favourite Jimando, last week's impressive Sportingbet Park winner Pronto Pronto and Listed winner Mama's Choice among the entries for the 1400-metre Group 2.

The $125,000 Group 3 TBV Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes for fillies is the day's other two-year-old event and includes Golden Slipper fancy Snitzerland, Blue Diamond placegetter Armed For Action and Magic Millions placegetter Alezan Thunder among its entries.

The $300,000 TAB Sportsbet Kewney Stakes for three-year-old fillies is one of three Group 2 events on the program and Shopaholic, who defeated Australian Guineas winner Mosheen in The Vanity two starts back, will aim to make it four wins in a row in the 1400m event.

The Vanity third placegetter, Angel Of Mercy, has also been entered for the Kewney, along with the classy Soft Sand and top Sydney filly Pane In The Glass.

Flemington Group 1 winners Wall Street and Scenic Shot are among the entries for the day's other Group 2; the $200,000 Blamey Stakes.

Talented Western Australians God Has Spoken and Ranger, Caulfield Cup runner-up Green Moon, the progressive Speediness and classy three-year-old Pied A Terre are among others entered for the 1600m event.

Evergreen mare Lady Lynette heads the entries for the $150,000 Group 3 Schweppervescence Trophy (1600m), while triple Group 1 winner Yosei is among the potential starters in the $100,000 Listed Super Saturday Stakes (1400m).

The other event on the card is the $100,000 Listed MSS Security Stakes (1100m), for which speed Sydney filly Satin Shoes and lightly-raced local African Pulse are entered, along with last-start Listed winner Glows and Blue Diamond Day winner Hot Spin.

Fields for the seven support races on the Flemington card will be finalised at 9am on Wednesday, when fields for both the Australian Cup and Newmarket Handicap will also be released.

The 1200m Newmarket, Australia's premier sprint race, is a chance of attracting a full field of 24 with 38 among the first acceptors, including Sydney stars Hay List, Rain Affair and Foxwedge, plus key local hope Bel Sprinter.

The Australian Cup (2000m) is dominated by former Europeans with former French-trained Melbourne Cup winner Americain heading a list of 22 first acceptors that also includes former German gallopers Lucas Cranach and Illo and ex-English performer Manighar. (www.racingvictoria.net.au)
