Leading trainer Peter Moody is attacking Saturday's Chester Manifold Stakes at Flemington with three runners, with the stable's number one jockey Luke Nolen engaged to ride the very much in-form There's Only One.

The four-year-old daughter of Testa Rossa is shooting for her sixth straight city win.

But all of her last five wins have been against her own sex and she faces a rise in grade to Listed level against open class gallopers in the 1400m feature.

To offset that she will carry the minimum weight of 54.5kg, 5.5kg less than the topweight Danzylum who is after his third successive Chester Manifold victory.

"She's been well placed and gets in on the minimum," Nolen said.

"She's come back well and she's deserving of her chance.

"Her work on Tuesday morning was quite sound."

Last start There's Only One came from last to win by a long neck from Fabulist in a mares rating 0-89 race over 1200m when resuming at Caulfield on December 26.

"I think how the track is racing will determine where she finishes," Nolen said.

"She's drawn 12 of 13 and will be giving them a start.

"She's a very capable mare and she should be a good chance if they can swoop.

"But if it is on-pace it's going to favour the other two (stablemates)."

That pair are Mr Make Believe, to be ridden by Michael Walker, and Shout Out Loud, to be handled by Dwayne Dunn.

"The grey Mr Make Believe has also been well placed throughout his career and won a string of races last preparation," Nolen said.

"As a result he has a good horse's weight (59kg) and he might just want this run at the 1400 metres."

The Commands five-year-old, who has won eight of his 14 starts, returned with Nolen aboard when he led and finished sixth to Zedi Knight in the Christmas Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on Boxing Day.

"Shout Out Loud is going well too although he missed one run," Nolen said referring to the 2010 Darwin Cup winner buckjumping soon after the start in the Christmas Stakes and being pulled up.

That was his first outing since joining the Moody stable.

"He'd been working well and trialling quite well before that and I trialled him after he put on that display and I thought he went nicely," Nolen said.

"So it will be interesting to see how he goes over 1400 metres virtually first-up even though he's had a power of work now."

Unbeaten three-year-old Pied A Terre retains favouritism at $3.20 with TAB Sportsbet ahead of There's Only One who has firmed from $9 to $5.50.

Second Effort is at $7, Shadowfax at $10 with Mr Make Believe, At The Heads and By The Way at $11.

Shout Out Loud is the outsider of the field at $74.
