Anthony Cummings has a million reasons to be excited about the prospects of Tallow who will be in action at next Sunday's bumper day of racing at Wyong.

The NSW Central Coast club plays host to the Magic Millions Slipper, a leadup to the big day at the Gold Coast.

Tallow, who is owned by her breeder, Magic Millions co-owner John Singleton, is being aimed at the $1 million Magic Millions Trophy (1400m) for three-year-olds at the Gold Coast on January 9.

But first she will target the $100,000 Magic Millions Stakes (1200m) at Wyong.

Tallow broke her maiden status at her third start last Wednesday at Warwick Farm where she came from worse than midfield to defeat Ready Miss by a length over 1100 metres with Glyn Schofield aboard.

"She's really starting to put it together now and certainly looks set for a very bright future," Cummings said.

"We'll send her around at Wyong, they'll probably be a bit sharp for her over that trip but it's crucial for her to have the run to get her ready for the 1400 metres in the Magic Millions race in January.

"There's also a three-year-olds' race at Doomben on Boxing Day but I'm not 100 per cent on that race, but Wyong and the Gold Coast are definites."

Out of the Lion Hunter mare African Queen, Tallow is already stakes placed having run third to Readyor in the Listed Keith Mackay (1200m) at Randwick on a heavy track in April.

She was third to Take This Waltz on debut at Warwick Farm over 1000 metres in late March when she missed the start and went back to near last before going on to finish just over a length behind the winner.

Cummings is also hoping Catbird colt Big Sunday can make his debut in the $200,000 Wyong Slipper but will take the precaution of nominating him for Rosehill a day earlier in case he doesn't make the field.
