Golden Slipper-bound Rostova has "done a treat" in Sydney and will run in a barrier trial at Randwick on Friday with race jockey Steven King aboard.
Rostova and stablemate Playwright, who runs in Saturday's Group Two Ajax Stakes at Rosehill, arrived at Randwick by float last Wednesday.
"She's done a treat and is absolutely terrific. The trial will just top her off," trainer Steve Richards said of his two-year-old.
Connections will pay the $150,000 late entry fee to put Rostova into the $3.5 million Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill on April 4.
The Testa Rossa filly is a $10 equal third favourite with Blue Diamond Stakes winner Reward For Effort for the Slipper with TAB Sportsbet.
More Joyous is the $3.20 favourite ahead of Real Saga at $3.60 and, despite being impressed with their wins in the Todman and Reisling Stakes on Saturday, Richards remains confident with Rostova.
"They both went very well. He (Real Saga) was too good for the colts and geldings, while she (More Joyous) was too good for the fillies," Richards said.
"I just think if Rostova had run against those fillies she would have beaten them the same.
"All of her wins have been as impressive as each other. Her only blemish is when she choked down in the Diamond.
"If you go back through her form all her wins have been quite dominant.
"It's going to be a good race."
Rostova has won four of her five starts, all by at least two lengths, and after her fifth in the Blue Diamond, she bounced backed back with a 2-3/4 length win over Bombay Sling in the VRC Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on March 7.
The filly, wearing a tongue tie and a cross-over nose band for the first time, led all the way to put herself back into Slipper calculations.
Richards said Playwright had also settled in well but would probably need to win the Ajax (1500m) to put him into the field for the $2 million Doncaster (1600m) at Randwick on April 18.
The four-year-old carried 57kg and gave the winner Largo Lad a 3kg weight advantage when he was runner-up, beaten a length, in the Group Two Blamey Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on March 14.
"The winner saved a couple of lengths rounding the home turn and that and the weight were the telling factors," Richards said.
Playwright, who hasn't won since the Group Three C S Hayes Stakes (1400m) at Flemington nearly 14 months ago, is 55th in the Doncaster order of entry.
The gelding, who was third to Light Fantastic in last year's Group One Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington, failed to come up last spring but Richards is happy with him this preparation.
Richards said options for Playwright included the Group One Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm on June 6.
