Joe Pride will be in Brisbane on Saturday with his winter carnival team but will keep a close eye on the Rosehill program with three genuine chances in action.
Leading the charge for the stable in Sydney will be talented three-year-old Title in the Churchills Sports Bar Handicap (1200m).
"He's definitely a progressive horse, and what I really like about him is that each start he's just got that much better," Pride said of Title.
The Honours List gelding finished fifth at his debut on Randwick's Kensington track in early February before claiming a maiden victory at Warwick Farm by two lengths later that month.
Pride immediately sent him for a spell while the autumn carnival was in full swing, and he returned at Canterbury on May 11 with an eye-catching third in a 1200m Benchmark 70 after drawing the outside barrier.
The Warwick Farm-based trainer believes the three-year-olds he has in his stable this season, which include dual stakes winner Neeson, are the best of any one crop he's had since he started training.
"I've done my best to look after them so hopefully we'll be rewarded with some really nice horses later on," Pride said.
Pride said Title was still six to 12 months away from being anywhere near his peak, but said the exciting thing was that there was talent to work with.
"I'm a bit of a believer that a lot of people hang on to horses hoping that one day they will show something, but to me good horses show something from the start," he said.
"Right from his first trial he did a lot of things wrong, but you could see the ability was there and I love the way he's improved with each run."
Stablemate De Jetcat also steps up to Saturday grade after winning over 1900m at Canterbury on May 11, and Pride thinks the Manildra Group Handicap (1900m) is the right race for the mare to make her presence felt.
"She won last start like a horse that could take the next step to Saturday company," he said.
"Those races are generally not a great form reference but she won well with 58 kilos and I think this is the right Saturday race for her.
"She has a soft draw (barrier one), a good jockey (Corey Brown) on board, and it's only a small field."
Bacchanal Woman will have her second start for the stable in the Scruffy Murphy's Hotel Handicap (1500m) after pleasing Pride with her sixth to Merconman over 1300m first-up at Rosehill on May 8.
Pride's Brisbane team is headed by Vision And Power in the Group One Doomben Cup.
