Nash Rawiller tuned up for the final Group One meeting of the season with a winning treble at Canterbury on Wednesday.

Rawiller, who will ride Bird Of Fire in Saturday's Winter Stakes at Eagle Farm, leads the 2008-09 Group One jockeys' tally with six wins to Damien Oliver's five.

Craig Newitt is also on five but is not riding in Brisbane this weekend.

The Tony Vasil-trained Bird Of Fire ran second to Winter Stakes rival Chinchilla Rose at her most recent start.

Oliver will be aboard 2008 Winter Stakes winner Absolut Glam, trained by Danny O'Brien.

Rawiller's six Group One winners are Manhattan Rain, Typhoon Zed, Takeover Target, Theseo (2) and Northern Meteor.

Oliver's winners are Apache Cat (2) Danleigh, Gallica and Orange County.

Rawiller, based in Sydney with Gai Waterhouse, said to maintain his status on the Group One ladder would be a milestone for him.

"This is the title that would mean the world to me," Rawiller said.

"Group One racing is a jockey's grand final and to win more than anyone else in a season would give me no end of satisfaction."
