The outside barrier was no help to Collect in the Silver Slipper and trainer Kevin Moses has again lamented a wide draw for Saturday's Group Three Skyline Stakes.

Collect held on for fourth in the Silver Slipper on debut after jumping from barrier nine and crossing to the lead in the race won by Pierro.

On Saturday the Fastnet Rock colt will jump from barrier 11 in a field of 12 where the unbeaten Raceway is a dominant favourite and will start from the outside stall.

Moses won a Golden Slipper as a jockey in 1980 on Dark Eclipse but is yet to have a Golden Slipper runner as a trainer.

Collect will be out on a prizemoney mission in the Skyline (1200m) at Randwick to try to boost his chances of gaining a Slipper start on April 7.

"He's got another wide gate this week which doesn't help a lot," Moses said.

"I think he's improved on his first run but he'll have to improve a lot to win this race.

"You can only run in the Slipper once and while he's well and healthy the plan will be to try to head that way.

"If he can't get enough prizemoney and things are still well with him then we'll probably look at the Sires' Produce Stakes and I think that would suit him."

Raceway was installed the $1.55 favourite with TAB Sportsbet on Wednesday on the back of his impressive debut win at Warwick Farm in January and his Canonbury Stakes success at the same track.

Shelford, who was runner-up to Raceway in the Canonbury, is on the second line of betting at $6 ahead of Lyric at $9.

Collect is a $26 chance with Corey Brown to ride.

The fillies will get their chance to qualify for a Slipper start in the Group Three Sweet Embrace Stakes (1200m) where the Gai Waterhouse-trained Kuchinskaya is the $3.20 favourite.

The winners of both two-year-old races are exempt from a Golden Slipper ballot.
