The wet track ability of More Than Ready's progeny is a confidence booster for Kevin Moses ahead of Perfect Silhouette's metropolitan debut at Randwick.

The two-year-old filly pleased the trainer with her third on a heavy track at Gosford on May 31, her first racetrack appearance.

A half-sister to 1999 Golden Slipper winner Catbird, Perfect Silhouette is a daughter of Fitting who Moses rode many times in the early 1990s including when she ran third to Angst in the 1993 Group One Flight Stakes.

"I would have liked her to draw better than 12 but no matter what happens between now and Saturday it's going to be wet so the barrier might not be too bad," Moses said.

Perfect Silhouette lines up in The Coach And Horses Hotel Randwick Handicap (1200m) which has 16 acceptors including Hawkeye Lass who won on debut at Gosford the day Moses' filly ran third.

Also in the field is Cleanup who races in Geoff and Beryl White's famous purple and white colours also carried by Fitting.

"Perfect Silhouette is a very nice filly but she is only small and I expect her to be better next preparation," Moses said.

Perfect Silhouette races in red, green and blue colours registered under the name of Sky Racing Star Stable syndicate.

Racing the filly was part of the prize for Sky's Star Stable competition held during the major carnivals.

While Moses is upbeat about Perfect Silhouette he is a little confused about the chances of Mr Unforgettable on a wet track in the Lactate Pro Handicap (1400m).

"He won well on the slow on the Kensington track but he's had a couple of other goes on the wet and has gone no good," he said.

"All wet tracks are different and hopefully he can back up his last start.

"He gets into the race very well weighted with Daniel Ganderton's claim."

Ganderton's two-kilo allowance brings Mr Unforgettable into the race with 55 kilograms while Tommy Berry will take three off Perfect Silhouette's 56.

Senior rider Hugh Bowman will be in charge of Moses' other runner, Jellylorum in the St George Cancer Care Handicap (1400m).

Bowman holds a five-win lead over Corey Brown in his attempt to win his first Sydney jockeys' premiership.

Randwick was rated a heavy eight on Thursday with more rain forecast in Sydney before race day.
