All eyes will be on Makybe Diva's little sister at Eagle Farm but trainer John Morrisey has warned not to expect too much too soon from the three-year-old.

Bakarje Diva makes her debut in Wednesday's Sita Environmental Maiden (1400m) with Damian Browne aboard.

Morrisey's long-time client Gundaroo Stud Syndicate paid $1.8 million for the Redoute's Choice-Tugela filly at the 2008 Easter Sale.

"She is a lovely filly but I don't know what to expect tomorrow," Morrisey said.

"On her work she is very one-paced and I think and hope she is a staying filly.

"But she's got to start somewhere and we've got to find out where we are with her.

"I'm not expecting a lot and I hope it's a learning curve and not a disappointment.

"The price doesn't matter - it's whether they can gallop."

Bakarje Diva finished last of seven in a 900-metre barrier trial at Murwillumbah on October 26 at her only public appearance.

"I would have liked to have given her another trial but they were washed out so we decided to put her in this race," Morrisey said.

"She was immature early but she is a lovely big filly now.

"She is very relaxed and has a beautiful nature but she doesn't show a lot of dash."

Stablemate Haslington will also run at Eagle Farm with the trainer hoping he can break through in the Mitty's Maiden (1400m) after second placings at his two starts.

"I don't think he'll be too far away," Morrisey said.

Morrisey will start Group One winner Rockdale in Saturday's George Moore Stakes (1200m) at Doomben but is also using the race as a stepping stone and not expecting too much.

The winner of the 2008 TJ Smith Stakes (1600m), Rockdale's two other career victories have been over 1400 and 2020 metres.

All three of his wins have been on wet tracks.

"There is a mile race in a few weeks that will suit him," Morrisey said.

"This looks too short but there isn't a lot for him at the moment."

The Group Three feature attracted 21 entries including 2008 Ramornie Handicap winner The Jackal and this year's runner-up Forestreno.
