Classy mare Illuminates will chase a final Australian victory at Warwick Farm before she departs for New Zealand on Monday.

The six-year-old's Sydney swansong is in Saturday's Listed Toy Show Quality but the Graeme Rogerson-trained mare will then be given her chance to win a Group One across the Tasman before being retired to stud.

Illuminates is booked to be served by Oakleigh Plate winner Swiss Ace later this year.

"She goes to New Zealand on Monday night for two or three races over there before going to stud," Rogerson's Sydney foreman Roger Elliott said.

The noted wet tracker, who ran second to Typhoon Tracy in this year's Group One Queen Of The Turf Stakes, is nominated for three Group One weight-for-age races at Hastings beginning with the Mudgway Stakes (1400m) on Saturday week.

She is also nominated for the Windsor Park Plate (1600m) on September 18 and the Spring Classic (2040m) on October 2.

Elliott said he was hoping for more rain ahead of the Toy Show where Illuminates will be lumped with 60kg.

"She's good but has been hammered with weight," he said.

"She's got 60 kilos and the next one down has 55. That's the biggest worry for her."

Warwick Farm received 6mm of rain on Wednesday night but the track was an improving dead (5) on Thursday courtesy of fine weather.

Illuminates won the Listed Civic Stakes on a slow track three starts back and has been freshened since her third to Altered Boy in the $100,000 Winter Championship (1500m) at Rosehill on July 31.

"We gave her a week out in the paddock, she had a swim each day and she has been back for two weeks," Elliott said.
