It isn't likely Stephen McKee will ever train a horse as good as Sunline again but he's confident Culminate is worthy of a chance against the best Australia has to offer.

A Group One winner in New Zealand, Culminate will be flown to Sydney on Tuesday ahead of a tilt at Saturday's Group One Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill, a race champion Sunline won twice.

Prior to Culminate's win in the Otaki Maori (1600m) she finished third in the Thorndon Mile.

Hot Danish has a rating of 111, six more than 2008 Coolmore winner Eskimo Queen with Culminate not rated because she is a visitor.

"She has a 105 rating in New Zealand but I'm not sure where that puts her in Australia," McKee said.

"I'm hoping she doesn't get too much weight and I wouldn't imagine Hot Danish would have to carry the maximum like Emancipation and Sunline did.

"I'd be hoping for around 55.5 kilos but we'll go with the flow.

"It's hard to gauge the opposition and Hot Danish will be extremely hard to beat but I'm pretty happy with my mare.

"One thing about her is that she is very tough and she loves a dogfight."

Damien Oliver will ride Culminate who is scheduled to have just one Sydney start unless McKee can be persuaded otherwise.

"The plan is to take her home again but if she happened to win then it would be tempting to stay for the Queen Of The Turf," he said.

"There is also the Breeders' Stakes at Group One level in New Zealand so we'll weigh things up after Saturday."

While McKee has a high opinion of Culminate, Mufhasa has the edge as the star of his Auckland stable with his recent Group One double of the Telegraph Handicap and Waikato Sprint.

The trainer will bring the four-year-old to Sydney for the Doncaster Handicap (1600m) on April 18, a race Sunline also won twice.

"He won a barrier trial this morning and I was very happy," McKee said.

"It was a good strong hitout which he needed because it's been some weeks since his last run."

There were 24 entries for the Coolmore including unbeaten Melbourne filly Typhoon Tracy and last-start Liverpool City Cup winner Judged.

The David Payne stable has nominated Rock Me Baby, Gallant Tess and former New Zealander Imananabaa who has form around Culminate.

Hot Danish carried 57kg in the 2008 Coolmore in which she finished second to Eskimo Queen on a heavy track.

The Les Bridge-trained mare has won both her starts this campaign with her latest a stunning effort in the Wiggle Quality under 61 kilograms.
