Godolphin's 1000 Guineas winner Blue Bunting is favourite to complete a famous double in the English Oaks.

The filly heads 16 entries remaining for Friday's Classic at Epsom.

Aidan O'Brien has a strong hand as he chases his fourth Oaks win, with impressive Cheshire Oaks victor Wonder Of Wonders and Irish 1000 Guineas winner Misty For Me his main hopes.

The Ballydoyle team could also be represented by Eirnin, Look At Me, Spin and Why.

The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Havant, John Dunlop's Beatrice Aurore and Zain Al Boldan from Mick Channon's yard are other major players.

Zain Al Boldan booked her ticket when she took her unbeaten record to three with a six-length romp in Lingfield's Oaks Trial.

But Bruce Raymond, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, admitted it would be an uphill battle to beat Blue Bunting.

"Everything is on song with Zain Al Boldan and we are hoping that she can run well in the Oaks," Raymond said.

"She gets the trip very well and we imagine that she will act on the course because she has had no problems with Brighton, Folkestone and Lingfield, which can all be demanding tracks.

"There was obviously a great deal of improvement when she won the Oaks Trial and we are hopeful that she can improve once again at Epsom.

"She is very easy to train and we are hopeful that she can make the first three.

"I wouldn't think that Frankie Dettori would be too frightened of us on Blue Bunting, but these big Classics can often spring surprises with the placed horses."
