Beaten Doncaster Mile favourite All Silent will back up for another tilt at an autumn Group One in Saturday's All-Aged Stakes at Randwick.

Craig Williams has been booked to ride the five-year-old with trainer Grahame Begg confident All Silent can show his best.

"He's as good as gold today," Begg said.

"I don't think he was in the right part of the track on Saturday and all in all he ran pretty well."

All Silent ($4.80 fav) finished 10th of the 19 runners, three lengths from winner Vision And Power.

Begg said he decided the 1400 metres of the All-Aged was a better option than the Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) on what will be a rain-affected track.

"The Queen Elizabeth was definitely an option but with the wet weather it could turn out to be more like a 2400 metre race," he said.

That is also on the mind of rival trainer Chris Waller who entered Triple Honour in both the All-Aged and the Queen Elizabeth but is favouring the former.

The 2008 Doncaster winner, Triple Honour finished 1-3/4 lengths eighth in his defence on Saturday.

"If the track is heavy then the 1400 metres is where we will go," Waller said.

"The 2000 metres in the wet may be too much to ask."

Waller will also have Galaxy runner-up Danleigh in the All-Aged with Damien Oliver, who rode All Silent in the Doncaster, committed to the mount.

Last year's All-Aged winner Racing To Win will contest the race again with Doncaster runners Hot Danish and Solo Flyer among the 21 nominations.

Perth star Marasco has also been entered with trainer Fred Kersley to make a decision on whether he runs dependent on the weather later this week.

All but three of the All-Aged entries - Friday Creek, Hot Danish and Northern Meteor - were among the 141 entries taken on Monday for Queensland's richest race, the $1 million Stradbroke Handicap on June 6.

The Begg-trained Palacio De Cristal was among 94 nominations for the Queensland Oaks but the trainer said he was uncertain if she was a true stayer after her 11th in Saturday's AJC Australian Oaks won by Daffodil.

"She pulled really hard and you can't do that and run 2400 metres," he said.

"We'll just weigh up the options over the next few weeks.

Oaks placegetters Think Money and Miss Darcey are also entered for the Queensland classic on May 30.
