Black Caviar copped injuries winning in the UK last month, raising doubts about her racing future. Part owner Neal Werrett says: 'We have purposely waited until she has got out of quarantine so that Peter Moody and his vets can have a real good look at her...They will be going over her from top to tail and if there is any long-term damage we will not risk racing her again. She has had a number of issues throughout her career, including a tendon [injury] when she was two and three. She is getting older and the wear and tear is starting to take its toll...We are not going to rush it. It might take a couple of weeks, but we want to make sure she is 100 per cent if she goes back into training.'
