He's building his own 'new' Lindsay Park at Euroa in northeast Victoria and has told The Age newspaper: 'Premierships don't worry me any more...We've done that for 40 years and I've won about 25, but now the preferred model is a smaller, more selective team. Still winning plenty of races but more quality than quantity...I've downsized quite a deal in the move to Euroa. I've probably halved the stable as to what it was at Lindsay Park. But that was the nature of Lindsay Park. I had to keep it full to make it pay. If we didn't have the big numbers, it would have lost money, but now it's just too big a hotel to run. I've shrunk my hotel and cut back my staff by about 50.''
