NASH RAWILLER has emerged as the rider of hyped colt Trusting, which steps up to group 1 company at just his fourth start in Saturday's $1 million Golden Rose at Rosehill, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

It adds: The Patinack Farm-owned Trusting beat older and more seasoned rivals impressively in the Warwick Stakes at weight-for-age at the weekend with Chris Munce in the saddle. But with Munce to honour a commitment to the Peter Moody-trained Golden Slipper runner-up Headway in the Golden Rose, the door was left open for Rawiller to take over on Trusting.

Munce said he had no doubt Trusting would be hard to beat in the Golden Rose despite backing up for the third week in a row, but he had told Moody he would ride Headway, which resumed from a spell with a second in the Quezette Stakes at Caulfield.
