Melbourne Cup hero Green Moon heads a final field of 13 runners in Saturday's Group 1 $1 million Darley Australian Cup (2000m), the final leg of the G1 Middle Distance Championship.

Drawn in barrier nine, Green Moon is joined in the final field by stable mates Mourayan (barrier eight) and Tanby (12) who will all be looking to emulate former Team Williams star Zipping who won the 2010 Australian Cup at his second up run.

Super Cool (three) and Fiveandahalfstar (four) have both drawn favourably in their quest to become the first three-year-old to win the Australian Cup since Saintly in 1996 while current G1 Championship equal-leader Foreteller drew barrier two.

Dual Group 1 winning West Australian Luckygray headlines a field of 14 in the Group 1 $1 million Lexus Newmarket Handicap (1200m) with the Gino Polleti-trained horse drawn in the outside barrier (14) alongside fellow West Australian Barakey in barrier 13.

Current Newmarket favourite Moment Of Change drew ideally in gate seven, the same barrier as both of Peter Moody's last two Newmarket victor's Black Caviar (2011) and Wanted (2010).

Other key draws in the G1 Sprint Championship final include dual-hemisphere Group 1-winning mare Ortensia (nine), last start Oakleigh Plate third placegetter Spirit Of Boom (six) and three-year-old's Better Than Ready (eight) and Shamexpress (11).

Early Melbourne Cup favourite Puissance De Lune has drawn the inside barrier in a field of nine in the Group 2 $222,000 Blamey Stakes (1600m), with 2010 Melbourne Cup runner-up Maluckyday drawn alongside in barrier two.

Other key Blamey Stakes barriers include the Mick Price-trained pair of Callanish (five) and Dany The Fox (nine) as well as last start Group 3 Carlyon Cup winner Budriguez (three).

Another highlight on Saturday's exceptional card of racing is the $222,000 TAB Kewney Stakes (1400m) which is headed by the Bart Cummings-trained Flight Stakes champion Norzita.

Drawn in barrier three, should Norzita wish to add her to brilliant first up victory in the Listed Typhoon Tracy Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley she will have to defeat the likes of Members Joy (four), Meliora (10) and Petite Diablesse (five).

The Group 2 $222,000 Henry Bucks Sires' Produce Stakes attracted the largest field on the program with sixteen runners plus three emergencies.

Danny O'Brien's Blue Diamond Stakes fifth placegetter came up with barrier three while other key runners in the juvenile feature include Twilight Royale (10) and Politeness (six).
