Connections of seven horses have declared an interest in tackling unbeaten mare Black Caviar in Saturday's $200,000 Group 2 Schweppes Schillaci Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield.

Flying Canberra filly Karuta Queen heads the list of potential rivals for the world's fastest racehorse in the event that is poised to upstage the $1 million Group 1 The Age Caulfield Guineas as the day's main attraction.

Morgan Dollar, Eight Bills, Galbraith, Platinum Skye, Centexpress and Tasos are the others in line to oppose Black Caviar as the Peter Moody-trained champion strives to stretch her unbeaten record to 14 races.

The Schillaci Stakes, which Black Caviar won last year, forms part of an outstanding nine-race card set down for Caulfield.

Thirty-seven three-year-olds - including Helmet, Smart Missile and Manawanui - remain in the running for the day's signature event, The Age Caulfield Guineas (1600m), with final declarations to be taken on Tuesday morning.

The Guineas is one of three Group 1 events on the Caulfield card with a host of Cups and Cox Plate contenders to continue their campaigns in the $400,000 Caulfield Stakes (2000m).

Past winner Whobegotyou, last year's runner-up Alcopop, reigning BMW Caulfield Cup champion Descarado, last-start Underwood Stakes winner Lion Tamer, consistent West Australian Playing God and beaten Epsom Handicap favourite Sincero are among those in Tatts Cox Plate contention that are among the 17 entries.

Lights Of Heaven and Robert Hickmott-trained imports Midas Touch, At First Sight and Green Moon are among the locally-prepared Caulfield Cup hopefuls entered, while overseas raiders Mighty High, Saptapadi and Sahara Sun add some international flavour.

Playing God is also among the 22 entries for the $350,000 Group 1 David Jones Toorak Handicap (1600m).
