It says: Officials at Ascot reckon that at least 5,000 Australians will be among the crowd on Saturday when 14 rivals will stand between Black Caviar and a 22nd win from as many starts. Black Caviar is no better than 1/4 to land the Group 1 sprint over 6f and while connections are not anticipating a repeat of Frankel's romp in the first race of the meeting they are confident that her unbeaten record will remain intact.
Moody said: "One thing I do know is that this is the fittest I've had Black Caviar in the past 24 months. I would love to see her win by ten or 11 lengths but a quarter of an inch will do us. If we want to let her rip we will do it at home...This is our turn on a world stage, our Olympics if you like. I don't think you will see a romp like Frankel but I think you will see something pretty special."
Black Caviar is a red-hot favourite and bookmakers Coral rate a winning distance of under three lengths as the 4/5 favourite to be her winning margin.
