Craig Williams is hoping to run back the clock on gun South Australian sprinter Arinos in the Listed Kensington Stakes (1000m) at Flemington.

Williams has won on the gelding twice down the straight and he hopes to add to the tally on Saturday.

"He is a very good Flemington straight horse and he has drawn ideally," Williams said.

Trained by David Jolly, Arinos is one of three South Australians in the Kensington and from gate 11 will get the galloping room he needs to be effective.

Lightly raced mare Get Set, trained by Jolly's brother Richard, will also contest the Kensington along with Stuart Gower's speedster Morgan Dollar.

Williams' four rides on Arinos have all been at Flemington.

The six-year-old hasn't won since Williams rode him in the Snippets Handicap (1000m) in September 2008 and the Listed Service Stream Sprint (1100m) on Oaks day in 2008.

Williams last rode Arinos at the end of his spring campaign when he flashed home on the heels of the placegetters in the Group Three HKJC Stakes (1200m) in September 5.

Last start, apprentice Jarrod Fry rode Arinos who finished a neck third to Keano and Alexander Beetle in the Red Tempo Sprint (1000m) on December 19.

Arinos has won seven of his 16 starts but his only stakes success was at Flemington.

"David has had this race earmarked for him for some time and the horse has come on really well since his first-up run,' Williams said.

"He only has to recapture his form of last season and he is right in it."

"David has placed him well and I'm looking forward to riding the horse again."

Arinos is $8 with TAB Sportsbet behind last year's Kensington winner Secret Flyer ($3.60) Common Interest ($4.40) and Morgan Dollar ($5).

Morgan Dollar was fourth in last year's Group One Oakleigh Plate and second to Nicconi in the Group Three McEwen Stakes (100m) at Moonee Valley in the spring.

Get Set will be ridden South Australian apprentice Libby Hopwood who has ben rewarded with a trip to Melbourne after winning on the mare at her past two starts.

Hopwood still claims two kilos but is in great form and heads Adelaide's jockeys premiership with 29-1/2 wins.
