Gai Waterhouse will have four runners on Magic Millions Day with the team due to leave Sydney on Tuesday bound for Queensland.

Horizons confirmed her berth on the float with a sparkling gallop at Randwick on Monday after being held back from the Strawberry Hill Slipper at Randwick on Boxing Day.

Ridden by stable jockey Mark Newnham, Horizons clocked 35.1 seconds for 600 metres and 11.5s for her final 200.

She will be joined in the $2 million Magic Millions Classic (1200m) for two-year-olds at the Gold Coast on January 10 by Shadow Assassin who won the $200,000 Randwick lead-up.

He wasn't among the original Magic Millions entries but prompted payment of the late entry fee with his win.

Unbeaten Queensland filly Paprika remains favourite with Shadow Assassin the $10 third elect and Horizons at $12.

Waterhouse will be represented by Bhutane Dane and Rock Kingdom in the $1 million Magic Millions Trophy for three-year-olds.

There had been doubts about Bhutane Dane making the trip but Waterhouse confirmed he would be on the float with the other three.

Rock Kingdom has been elevated to equal favouritism following his determined win at Randwick on Thursday.

Express Air, runner-up to Youthful Jack at Doomben on Saturday, shares top billing with Rock Kingdom at $4.60 while Bhutane Dane is a $16 chance.
