International star Takeover Target has had a leisurely workout at Singapore's Kranji racecourse a week ahead of his defence of the KrisFlyer Sprint.
Takeover Target and Singapore International Airlines Cup contenders Pompeii Ruler and Sarrera arrived in Singapore on Saturday night after an uneventful flight.
The Singapore Turf Club reported Takeover Target trotted a lap and then cantered a lap of the Polytrack on Sunday morning.
Sarrera cantered a lap of the same track while Pompeii Ruler was just given a hand walk.
The trio arrived at Changi airport around 6.45pm and were looked over by the Singapore Turf Club's veterinary surgeon Dr Kieran Finn.
"All three horses are reported to have travelled well on an incident free trip," Dr Finn said.
"All the handlers said their horses ate and drank well on the flight and there was nothing to suggest otherwise."
"They all looked really healthy and had a nice shine to their coats."
The Mick Price-trained Pompeii Ruler won the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick on April 25 by half a length from 2008 winner Sarrera who finished second in a dead heat with Metal Bender.
A week earlier, Takeover Target demoralised a class field in the TJ Smith Stakes and at his most recent start on May 2 won the Goodwood in Adelaide.
Hong Kong's KrisFlyer contenders Sacred Kingdom and Inspiration arrived in Singapore on Sunday morning.
The pair are the past two winners of the International Sprint in Hong Kong and both travelled well.
Pompeii Ruler's regular partner Craig Newitt will learn on Tuesday if he can ride in Singapore.
Newitt is appealing the severity of a careless riding suspension incurred in last week's Prime Minister's Cup at the Gold Coast.
He rode the Price-trained Rightfully Yours who lost the race on protest to Mr Hornblower.
Price has sounded out Darren Beadman and Damien Oliver for the ride if Newitt is unsuccessful in his appeal.
