Stephen Farley is confident Sincero has taken the trip to Brisbane in his stride and is ready to showcase his talent at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Farley travelled overnight on Thursday with his stable star and arrived in Brisbane early on Friday morning ahead of the exciting three-year-old's biggest test yet in the Group Two QTC Cup (1300m).

"He is a relaxed horse and he had travelled to Wagga and Grafton before but never interstate," Farley, who trains at Wyong on the NSW central coast, said.

"They were six and seven hour trips but this one took us 11 hours so it was the longest trip he has had.

"He seems fine and appears to have settled in all right.

"I was more than happy with how he was and how he was working before we came up so it's just a matter of how he fares today and tonight now. I'm confident he will handle it all."

Sincero is the $2.80 favourite for the QTC Cup (1300m) on the back of six straight wins including dominant victories in the Gosford Guineas and Scone Guineas at his two starts this time in.

He is also the $5.50 favourite for Saturday week's Group One Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) and will be out to cement that position with his performance on Saturday.

Farley was a relieved man in the mounting yard after Sincero continued on his winning way with a convincing 1-1/4-length success in the Scone Guineas (1600m) three weeks ago.

"I was relieved more than happy there just because of the boom on the horse and he was probably expected to win there," the trainer said.

"Tomorrow is going to be more of a test for him to see if he can step up."

Sincero will jump from the inside barrier in a capacity field of 16 runners but the race will be without topweight Pinwheel who was scratched on Thursday and also the Mick Price-trained Rightfully Yours who was withdrawn on Friday.

The QTC Cup carries a ballot exemption into the Stradbroke but Rightfully Yours is already safely in the field.

From the rails draw Farley can see the three-year-old doing no work and just hopes jockey Tim Clark is able to get him into clear running so the son of Umatilla can let down strongly.

"It's probably not ideal (barrier one) but he's going to get a soft run and he shouldn't have a gut-buster," Farley said.

"I envisage him getting about four pairs back on the fence getting a soft run, and if he can get a bit of luck coming to the corner he should balance up and be really in the finish."
