The Queensland winter carnival is not yet over for Anthony Cummings who will send Randwick winner Recoup De Fortune north for the Sunshine Coast Guineas.

Brisbane has been a mixed bag for Cummings with Duporth claiming the BTC Sprint, Nothin' Leica Cat running second in the Queensland Oaks but several stablemates not handling the wet tracks.

Cummings still has a shot at the last Group One of the season with Prima Nova to run in the Winter Stakes on Saturday week and he has high hopes Recoup De Fortune will develop into an elite performer next season.

The colt lived up to his $2.80 favouritism in the Little Bay Handicap (1400m) on Monday when he led all the way to beat Altier ($3.50) by 3-1/2 lengths.

"He will go to the Sunshine Coast Guineas in three weeks and I'm hoping he can develop into an Epsom Handicap horse in the spring," Cummings said.

By Fusaichi Pegasus out of Volte, Recoup De Fortune is a half brother to the Cummings-trained Dealer Principal, winner of last year's Rosehill Guineas.

Cummings won the 2007 Sunshine Coast Guineas with Maslins Beach.

Meanwhile, the Patinack Farm momentum with two-year-olds continued on Monday with Web Of Love winning at Randwick less than an hour after Porsched scored at Moonee Valley.

The Jason Coyle-trained Linky Dink won Saturday's Group One TJ Smith Stakes at Eagle Farm but it was Mick Price in Melbourne and Gabrielle Englebrecht in Sydney who prepared the latest winners.

Englebrecht prepares a small team alongside her father Steve at Warwick Farm and Web Of Love was her first juvenile winner.

"There's no better feeling," Englebrecht said.

"I'm rapt. This filly has improved out of sight.

"I was a bit worried because she is so relaxed but she put it together in the race."

Web Of Love ($5) raced up on the pace in the Vaucluse Handicap (1400m) and had plenty left at the finish to hold off Anschluss ($6.50) by a length.
